 No wheeled traffic is allowed in front of the Royal Palace Street. Generally in middle of November - it's depend on each year's lunar calendar - water festival (Bon Om Tuk in Khmer) is hold for celebrate the end of wet season for a week. During the festival week boat races are held on the Tonle Sap River in front of the Rayal Palace.
The bank of the Mekong is turn to seat that was packed full with an eager audience. The river quantity is high in this season and goal is far from the shore I couldn't see the order of arrival. |

This is long boat more than 40 people row a boat There are various kind of boats come and go in front of audience. I wonder how to compete different type of boats are? Unfortunately I have no friends who explain me of my questions. I don't know the rule of this boat race till now.
