Lao Cai - Hekou border bridge in twilight On our way Lao Cai railway station, our minibus stopped at lighted bridge that was Chinese border. This border is open daily from 07:00 to 17:00. Guidebook said there are direct train service between Hanoi and Kunming in China. I think this route is attractive way to visit Vietnam or China. Next time I'd try to cross the bridge. At seven in the evening our tour finished at Lao Cai station. Then we took dinner at restaurant each other till a night train come. There are two night trains to Hanoi, 20:50 and 21:15, and mine was last one. After long walking through platform when I had put my baggage down on my seat English woman shouted it was her seat.
I couldn't understand that, but definitely our seat number with handwritten ticket was same. We made a protest to conductress and finally I forced to move another coach. Then it was all settled. Next morning at the Hanoi railway station my exhausting trip was also all settled. |
